Monday morning started with a great approach shot leading to a birdie on the first hole at Quail Ridge. I texted Quail's GM to say I was 1 under after 1 and thinking I should stop right then. He told me to keep going. Parred the 2nd hole (Par 5) and got to the Par 3 third to find a ground's crew member cutting the green. Took about a dozen extra practice swings waiting for him to finish. Tees off from 134 and watched the PV1 take flight. Thought it was going to be short but it landed front of the green took one bounce then rolled toward the hole until it disappeared. Never been three under in my life until that moment which will stay with me forever. Special thanks to Elton for cutting the green and for the photo.
