I am 79 years old and having more fun now than ever playing off the senior tees. It allows me to be competitive with my buddy who is 55. We play nine holes three times a week, usually at Oyster Reef Golf Club in Hilton Head.

I certainly wasn't expecting a hole in one but knew I hit a solid shot that would be on the green. As I turned away to pick up my tee, my buddy started yelling and said it went in the hole. Of course, I assumed he was wrong. I knew it was close but really couldn't tell for sure. When we walked up to the hole, sure enough my Titleist Matte Red ball was smiling at me from the bottom of the cup. This is my first and only hole in one in 50+ years of playing. It was really exciting and kind of unbelievable.
