On August 26th in the Cameron Golf League at Crescent Oaks Golf Club in Tarpon Springs, FL I experienced my first hole in one. At the 3rd hole playing 133 yards I was last to tee off and I hit my 8 iron, a bit thin I admit, and it landed in rhe front of the green, bounced and then gradually climbed to the pin and fell in. I was glad to have so many witnesses from the league who saw and heard it and I won’t enough money with the closest to the pin, skins, and quota to cover the bar bill.
