It was a beautiful Colorado Saturday morning. The first day of our member/member tournament. We had been joking for months about this woukd be the perfect season to get an ace, as our clubhouse was being rebuilt. I started out okay a couple of pars and a few bogeys, I felt pretty god through hole 8. We stepped up to hole #9 at Littleton Golf and Tennis club. A 140 yard par 3 with trees and maintenance shed on the right side of the green/fairway. Sand onthe left fron of the green and a public bike path on the left. I stepped up to the tee with intentions of just hitting the green. I hit my 8 iron nice and high, to my surprise really straight. I thought "that should make for a nice birdie chance" it landed, rolled up, and dissappeared into the cup. I threw my club, my hat and glasses and yelled with joy. A cyclist even stopped and said "must be a hole in one" YESSIR!
