Finally got my 2nd hole-in-one and I have the video to prove it! Hayward, Wisconsin GC #3, 164 yds, 7-iron (downwind). Thankfully Hayward GC videos all shots on that hole. A mom, dad and their young boys were letting me play through so I was a little nervous and then I knocked it in. 41 years between holes-in-one. In 1982 I was playing a practice round for the state amateur at Goodrich GC in Maplewood, Minnesota with Dan Duffey and I made a double eagle, hole-in-one on the par 4 #5 which they've since lentthened. I mark all my golf balls (Titleist ProV of course) with a smiley face to remind me of my dad since that's what he put on his golf ball. He used to say "yeah, but too many times it rolls upside down and frowns at me..." I also put 5 dots - one for each member of our family on my golf ball. The Hayward Ladies league (name of their league is Grip It and Sip It) was able to celebrate with me. I always wanted to "drinks are on me!".
