I started playing golf when I was six years old, thanks to my father who gave me a club and taught me the game. After half a century of swinging, I finally achieved a golf dream: a hole-in-one. It was a moment of joy and gratitude that I got to share with my son-in-law, Ben Lockwood, and two dear friends, Greg Abrams and Joe Reeves. We were playing in the Fall Schamble at Fuzzy Zoeller’s Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, Indiana, and Fuzzy kindly agreed to sign the pin flag for me.
The first person I called was my Dad, who is 86 years old, to tell him the good news and thank him for introducing me to this wonderful sport.
I made the 158-yard shot with a Titleist forged 695 CB iron and a Titleist Pro V1 ball (number 2 with my “V” mark). I want to thank Titleist for being a part of this incredible memory and amazing experience.
