Playing in a Nine and Dine at my club. Pin was low in a dip in the green. The two ladies in my group were chatting and the gentleman in my cart was getting a tee. I saw it take one hop, seem to hit the stick and disappear, I assumed it went off right, left or long. Walked to green and started checking all around and thought the worst that it kicked into the water. Had to walk past the hole to go to the cart and get a ball, and as a joke looked in the cup and whaddaya know? Thinking back on it, I guess I did see it for the most part. Took one hope about a foot short of the hole, hit the stick and what I thought was it dropping below the hill was actually going in the cup!
