I was invited to play on my friend's golf club and had recently got a Garmin r10 shot tracker and built a hitting net in my front yard. I started to practice my short game a lot, going to the local executive municipal course and practicing in my front yard.
The hole lasered in at 110, but had a slight uphill with back to front slope. Pin was middle of the green so the best approach was to hit the ball past the pin and hope the slope helped.
I somehow managed to hit a good strike on the ball, land it past the pin with enough back spin and it disappeared into the hole. I was very non shalant when it happened or more in shock. Everyone was more excited than I was, but it wasn't until a few days later did it settle in how awesome it was to get a hole in one.
