My dad and I bought a golf package down in the Pinehurst area. On the second day, we played Legacy. On #11, a 163 yard par 3, it was downhill with the wind helping so I decided to hit an 8 iron. I hit it well and it never left the flagstick. I actually said “go in” while it was in the air. It landed short of the hole and then it disappeared. I told my dad that I thought it went in. I was still in shock and doubt as we rode to the green. When we got to the green, I didn’t see it. We walked up to the hole and there it was, in the hole. I couldn’t believe it.
