First hole in one! Only took 30 years! Beautiful hot summer evening in Little Rock at Chenal CC on June 21, 2024. I was playing with my daughter on her first 18 holes with me as she just recently picked up the game. Hole #17 into the sun and my trusty AP2 714 7 iron came through for me at 155 yds. It was one of those swings that required the hand in the air to block the sun to watch the ball land. Pin was back right location and the hole disappears behind the contour of the green. I saw one bounce right in front of the pin and it kind of shocked me as wow that looked really good. My daughter hit next and then we drove up to the green and we could only see one ball (hers) so I was still a little nervous and in disbelief. I grabbed my sand wedge and putter as I thought it likely went long. For fun, I asked my daughter to check the hole. "Dad, there's a ball in here!" Titleist 2 Tour Soft for the win. Best part of the whole ace was getting to share the feeling with my daughter.
