I played a local mini track today, Diablo Creek GC with a couple friends. We were on hole 4, par 3 about 205 yards with a front pin and slight down wind.

I had a t100 5 iron in hand and all I wanted to do was make solid contact. Sure enough, I launch a high draw with a prov 1x, land it 5 feet from the hole and see the ball rolling towards the pin but think the ball is going to end up pin high. So I turn around and pick up my tee and my buddy, shouts, “oh! Think it went in!” I look towards the green still in disbelief but I couldn’t see my ball. Then we pull up to green and sure enough as I look in the cup, there’s my ball.

TBH, I thought I’d be more excited about my first HIO with witnesses ha. But I imagine I would’ve gone nuts if I actually saw my ball roll into the cup.
