Been drawing the ball all round up to the 12th hole, par 3, 180 yards, at Shepherd’s Hollow in Clarkston, MI. Hit third out of the foursome. Took no practice swings. Used a long tee as I had that in my pocket. Swing was so smooth and easy that I didn’t even feel the contact with the ball. The ball when dead straight. Took one bounce and went into the hole. Thought it was in the front side bunker as that is located just in front of the hole. One of my playing partners walked to the sand first as I grabbed my putter. He said it wasn’t there, but he said later he saw it go into the hole, but didn’t want to ruin the surprise! Walked up and looked in the hole and let out the loudest hoot and holler!!!
