Hole 9 at Cyprian Keyes in Boylston, MA is a par 3. The yardage was 177 with the pin in the front left portion of the green. I decided to hit a 7-iron, knowing I would have to hit it hard to reach the proper distance. As I hit the ball, it started left of where I was intending due to my attempt to get some extra distance. My Titleist 2 with a black dot landed on the left portion of the hill, bounced down, and went sideways at an angle before disappearing! It was my first hole-in-one, and on top of that, I was playing with friends I will have for life.
