My first hole in 1 was on the par 3 208 yards blue tees on the famed national treasure Bethpage Black course. I hit my 731pm 3 iron with a high cut right to left to a back middle pin placement. My son Kyle said it disappeared. We scoped it and there was no ball on the green. The guys we were playing with said from the white tees "think it went over the green". I find a a similar red Titleist 4 prov1x and think it was my ball and proceed to hit it onto the green. My playing partner puts his ball just off the green and I go and pull the flag out and my ball that is a Titleist red 4 with "Joe Ohana" on it is in the cup.
I yelled holly ... Let's Goooooo. I've been playing 28 years waiting to hit my first hole in 1.
How fitting it is to play number 4 Titleist on the 4th of July on our national treasured course. Thanks to Joe Chang and Pete McDonald as my witnesses. My son kyle, who also playing Titleist clubs and ball shot a 79 beating the old man with an 82. I preceded to the clubhouse and bought everyone at the bar a round of Modelos beer. What a way to celebrate the 4th. God bless America and this Great Game.
