I was playing in our Thursday morning skins league and had a below average front nine. I started the back off with a tap in birdie, I came within 6 inches of holing my second shot. I then proceeded to make a double bogey on 11 a par three. I made pars on 12&13 and walked on the tee at 14 with a pitching wedge, the green is elevated and normally plays 115 to the center. The pin was toward the front left of the green with a slight breeze behind us, I the decided to switch to a gap wedge. My 3 playing partners had all hit and all three were short of the green. I lined up my shot and hit a very high shot that never left the pin. Being an elevated green when the ball hit I watched it roll then disappear. I figured it probably rolled far enough to where I lost sight of it because of the elevation. One of my playing partners said “I think it went in”. I figured it had a chance but wasn’t sure until we got up to the green. I didn’t see any ball on the green so I slowly walked to the hole and peeked in. There was my Tour Soft nestled in the bottom of the hole. It was my second ace and I look forward to a few more lol!
