I say official because when I was in college I teed off on a par 3 that sent my ball to the water. I played my third shot off the tee box and knocked it in the hole from 142 yards out. Devastating way to have your first holed shot from the tee box.

Today was the real one and I can’t believe I holed another shot off the tee. Playing at City Club Marietta, Georgia, I knocked in my first hole in one from 127 yards out with a TM Stealth 9 iron. I hit a Titleist Velocity ball straight at the green. Thinking I was in danger of the front side bunker, I was relieved to see it land on the green and experienced one of the most memorable moments of my life when the ball disappeared into the cup. Incredible moment that I’ll never forget. Looks like I’ll be playing the #1 ball in golf for the rest of my days.
