I’ve been playing in a particular work outing for the last 8 years. 4 man scramble for charity. The 2nd hole is a par 3 161 yards over water. I was told for 30+ years they had a car giveaway on that hole. We end up shotgun starting on that hole. When I walked up to the tee box there were a few ladies there selling raffle tickets in which case we bought. I asked why no car this year and they said no unfortunately because the dealership they had a relationship was recently sold. I end up going last and sure enough I make it. Hit it about 18 feet behind the stick and spun it back down the slope into the hole. I’ve been catching a lot of flack since then because of course it’s the one year with no car/cash
