So I have been playing on and off for a little over two years now but recently moved over to Australia from the UK.

Since being over here I have been playing at Cobram barooga golf course, getting to know the course and adapting to the difference in courses from back home.

I was playing round with my mate and was having a shocker putting was shocking so I joked on the 5th hole that it would be easier for me to hit a hole in one than to try and sink some of the puts.

We get to the 9th hole on the old course and it is a par 3 (133 yards) my friend goes first and hits just over the back of the green, then I step up and hit my ball, i could've sworn it was going short into the bunker but my friend tell me its 100% on the green but he cant see it so i start to jump to see if it had rolled off the back of the green but I couldn't see it, so I chuck my club down and start running to the green I still can't see the ball, so I start shouting to him that i can't see it, I get to the green and I look in the hole and there it is.

A moment I will never forget, all the *** that was in my head all the sadness of missing home and my family, in that moment all of that went away, one of the best moments of my life.
