I was playing as a single in a foursome with a group of folks I did not know at my home course. The 6th hole is an uphill shot so you can only see about half of the flag stick. I hit a really good shot right at the pin. With the elevation change, I have hit many good shots on this hole only to find I was over the back of the green. When I drove up and so no balls on the green (everyone else had missed the green), I started looking over the back and didn't see anything. So jokingly said, "I better check in the hole" and there was my ball staring back up at me!

While it was an amazing feeling hitting my first Ace, not being able to see it go in took a little bit of the excitement out of the experience.
