I know it's Christmas time and all that but is anyone else suffering from major withdrawal symptoms as there is no golf on TV ?

Honestly, no. Probably a lot of that is because I have young kids. But this time of the year I like to watch all of the old Christmas movies I grew up with. And with every thing else that goes on this time of the year, I probably wouldn't have much time to watch golf anyway. Plus with the great weather the northeast is seeing this year, I'd rather go out and play.

If you don't mind watching repeats of 2015 tournaments the Golf Channel is broadcasting tons of tournaments right now. I'm not a huge fan of the wrap-around season in golf. Although it helps golfers new to the PGA tour, I think that it simply burns out the top players. I good number of top players skip a lot of tournaments over the course of the season to prevent burnout. I believe some do get burnout which sometimes shows in their play. I believe the LPGA has it figured out. They have fewer tournaments which I realize there isn't as much money in women's golf BUT the golf, in my opinion, the overall level of golf and competitiveness is better.

Just turn on Golf Channel at anytime of the day, they always show re-runs of the 2015 Tour events.

To help get over it I have been planning our trip to New Orleans for the Zurich Classic. We are going to have a great time in New Orleans. I was passed over again for Masters tickets in 16....but I will try again for 17.
