    Hey all,

Hoping to start a new discussion on this topic.

I was one of the fortunate ones in Australia to get a hold of one of these putters before they were all sold out, and I opted to get the CX-02 to try the new neck style.

I've been using a the Futura X7M Dual Balance and have been for the last 3 years. Before that, I had a blade style putter and have always liked this style of putter but the balance and feel of a mallet is great. I've always wanted to have a blade style so I can alternate between the 2 and when this was announced, I was very happy with what this putter has to offer. The look of a blade but the balance and forgiveness of a mallet at the same time.

I've been using it for a few weeks now and it feels great. I think its very excessive in the price, but we all know these putter are made with exceptional quality.

What style of Concept X did you opt for and also how are you guys finding the putter since buying it?

I'm glad you are liking it!

I tried it for an hour on a practice green and loved the feel and set up.

I hated the price. It took 5 minutes to get used to the look of the wings, or whatever they are called.

I've seen a lot of negative reviews on other forums, but I cannot get over how great it feels and rolls.

I broke my hand last week so I'll skip buying it for now.

Was just looking at buying one today, no where in the area to test it out so I am buying out of reviews and the fact that it is a Scotty Cameron. Any regrets Bas or is it worth the money.

    Hey Jeff,

The feel and sound is great on the putter. Like Scotty says, you get the best of both worlds, the look of a blade with the performance of a mallet.

I don't have regrets buying it at all, but I do think its a bit expensive compared to the standard Scotty putters. With that said, when you compare that it costs the same price of a brand new driver these days, its not that bad as you're guaranteed to use this putter on every hole where with the driver you wont.

If you can get your hands on once, its worth trying and possibly buying it if you like the look and feel of the putter.
  5. Jeff,

I have been gaming the CX-01 for several weeks now. The feel is absolutely terrific, easy to align and calibrate for whatever distance you normally gauge against. I play AVX which produces a pleasant sound off of the face. From the very start, I switched the grip to the grey mid-size Matador style, without any loss of feedback. While first worrying that the shape might be "too broad", it is in fact perfect to look down upon and provides for an exceptionally true roll. The price point certainly makes this putter an investment, but like all other flat sticks, your confidence will grow from the relationship that you establish with it. I know, a little hokey, but hey....it's golf. Hope you enjoy the stick.

Hello Bas, Ive just been reading your other thread, Scotty Cameron have done a great job with your putter.

Did you ever contact Scotty Cameron via email regarding any queries you had before you posted your putter or did you just send it anyway?

I have a Circa 62 number 1 had it since new 10 years

I sent them an email with a couple of queries on Friday, waiting for a reply, hoping they get in touch!

    Hey mate,

I must admit they did a great job on the putter. Since having it and playing a few rounds with it, I've had a few of my mates comment on how much better the putter looks now.

I contacted them a few times and had a few emails back and forth with questions and answers so that I knew I had all the information before putting the order through.

Nice putter you have there. What are you looking at getting done to it if you send it off?

My experience with the Custom Shop certainly exceeded my expectations.
