What are some of the courses you no longer have on your “bucket list”?

Any course that is walking "only" has been dropped from my bucket list, due to physical limitations.
  4. Chuck Z. Don’t give up on the list. Most courses can make accommodations with a letter from your physician stating your limitations and need for accommodations. Keep playing.. a rolling stone gathers no miss!
  5. Old head Kinsale, was number 1 until I played it recently. It did not disappoint

This is on my list! Would you suggest it over a trip to Scotland and playing the Old Course?

Would love to do a Trump Property Tour. The courses are all on my list to get to.

Sheep ranch came off my list a few years back. Me and the wife ad an amazing 60deg day and hung out on the 14 holes in the sun with snacks and the coast all by ourselves. I do not want to go back now and ruin the memories of the day. Thankyou Bandon for an incredible afternoon on the OLD ranch.

Old Course at St Andrews. Might get to do that one next year. And of course Augusta, but I know that one will never happen.
  11. I really don’t have a bucket list, but our course is closed for renovations, and I have been able to play Old Town Club in Winston-Salem on a reciprocal. This is the best course I have ever played. It is a Perry Maxwell course that was renovated by Coore & Crenshaw. I have never seen a course that fits the land as well. It looks like someone found the course rather than built it. There is an amazing amount of variety. Given the choice of playing Old Town or #2, I would choose Old Town every time. Just an absolute beautiful piece of property.

Whistling Straits (x3) and Erin Hills (x2). I'm working on completing the TPC Public Course tour......so far I've golfed at TPC San Antonio (Oaks), TPC Deere Run, TPC Scottsdale (Stadium), and TPC Las Vegas.

To be honest, I don't have a list. They're just green grass and 18 flags to me, and I've played quite a few of the typical "bucket listers". I get more excited about the travel and a new resort town to visit, especially the Bandon/Kohler/Cabot types. I was spoiled as a youngster in New York/New Jersey as my father was a businessman with all the connections, as well as being a member at a great private club. Kudos to those that follow the dream and actually can pursue a bucket list, an overwhelming % can't. Augusta would be the only track I haven't played that I'd pick, been there, television doesn't do those greens any justice. In my mind, I question whether I'd want to go through the humiliation of putting them. Of course I would!

I agree. I lived in the New York Metropolitan area for 57 years and got to play some of the finest golf courses in the country, located right in that area.

Tobacco Road is fantastic in my book and hoping to play there again in early April. French Lick is still on my list. It is an all day fee to play French Lick so plan on being there all day an build in some time to play Sultan's Run while there. it is nearby and a fantastic course.
  24. Saint Andrews, the Old Course.
  25. Pine Valley more than once. Very fortunate.

Pinehurst 2, 4, and 8; Streamsong Red and Black; Bandon Dunes, Sheep Ranch and Bandon Dunes; TPC Sawgrass Stadium and Dye's Valley; TPC Scottsdale, Stadium and Champions; Kiawah Island, Ocean and Osprey; Champions (Houston) Cypress and Jackrabbit; Rhode Island CC; Tobacco Road; Memorial (Houston). Not sure at my age (80) if I'll get many more in, but here's hoping.
  27. For 2025, I’d say any of the Pinehurst courses I have not played. Got to play 3 and 5 the week before the open in 2024 and really love the area.
Otherwise, all other usual suspects like TPC Sawgrass Stadium.
  28. I have been to PH the last 2 years. I agree completely on the area. I fell in love 2 years ago. Truly a beautiful place and the people treat you like family. Special place. 2, 4, 8, 10 all spectacular.

Hit many bucket list courses before I even thought about a list. This year took off PGA Frisco. Went ahead and took off Augusta National because it will never happen. Took off Pebble Beach as the cost versus Bandon Dunes doesn’t make sense.
