Two years ago I had a fitting for AP1 irons with my pro. Hitting a 7 iron I tried various shaft options and was getting the best results with a stiff shaft. I knew my swing wasn't fast enough to warrant stiff shafts but machismo won out and I bought the iron set with stiff shafts.

I now realise this was a mistake as I struggle with the longer irons, not really knowing where the club head is during the swing. Should I change my clubs or would it be worthwhile having another fitting session and get my clubs re-shafted?
