Tour players Fairway preference

    Hi Neil (if its you that answers)

    Is there a reason why Tour players prefer the 913FD  fairway model over the 913F?

    Looking at the players bags there is a distinct preference for the FD model.

    Yes - it is me that answers and thanks for your question.

    The main reason that came out when the fairways and hybrids were first tested on the European Tour at the Dunhill Links last October was that the Fd seems to launch with a little less spin. This in turn gives the pros the flight that they are looking for. However, every player is different (even on tour) and there are plenty of players that favour the 913F, as it suits their swing best.
