Prototype balls

    Hi,I was fortunate enough to receive a pack of prototype balls last year. 

    Was wondering whether they were PRO V1 or PRO V1x?

    The balls that were sent out last year were just test balls - they weren't specifically Pro V1 or Pro V1x.

    Hi Neil

    Normally with the Pro V's the black numbered balls are Pro V1's and the red numbered one's are x's. Can I take it then that the coloured numbers on the prototype balls didn't reflect this?

    Hi Martin,

    The different coloured numbers on the test balls would have indicated a different construction, but that wasn't specifically related to the Pro V1 and Pro V1x models.

    Hope that clarifies.

    OK thanks for clarifying that.

    My new Pro V1's are working really well, they feel softer than the previous model but also seem more durable, don't know how you've done it but I'm delighted with them.
