Club fitting (length)

    Hi I'm wondering if you can help... I am shorter than average height so when I was custom for for my irons a few years ago they are 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch shorter than standard (I can't remember now). I want to create similar spec in my hybrids and fairways so I am looking to buy replacement shafts rather than cutting mine down. 

    Here is my question if a 21 degree hybrid shaft length is 40 inches according to Titleist website does that mean I am looking for a shaft that (without the head) measures 40 inch from end to end or is it measured with the head in it somehow?

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for your message and apologies for the delay here in a response.

    The club is measured with the head attached, the head gives an additional half inch, which means we would cut the shaft at 39.5" for the above example.
