Hi, I have been looking through the preview of the 2014 catalogue , and I am looking to buy a new staff bag. Can you please advise me if there any difference between the 2013 / 2014 models. If so , when can we order a 2014 model from our nearest dealer? Many Thanks Andrew r

Hi Andrew. Thanks for your post. I can confirm the Staff Bags in 9.5" and 10.5" have remained the same for 2014. These can be ordered from any Titleist stockist today. Thanks

Just on this - would one say that Staff Bags are suitable for use on a push / motorised trolley?

If so does having it on a trolley cause loss of access to important pockets and therefore limit the usability of such a bag??

I have a C130 currently which is fine on a trolley but looks no where near as good as the titleist staffer!

I use my 10.5 Staff bag on my Powakaddy and it looks and fits amazing. The only pocket that is tricky to get into is the valuables pocket at the top front of the bag but I put my keys and Phone in this before putting it on my trolley before I play as u won't need them.

there is also a small pocket at the bottom in front of were you will put your golf balls I put valuables I will need in there also.

although hard to get into pocket at the front it's not impossible. And this bag defo looks the best so I would go for it if I was you.

    cheers Lewis

Hi Lewis Thanks for the info. I have seen the 10.5" bags on trollies and most seem to turn them sideways , which is not what I want to do , hence wanting to go for the 9.5" size. I just wanted to get a feel for seeing if fitting the bag on the trolley that way , that you were still able to access the small and large pockets that are on the front of the bag? Cheers Andy

Fantastic - thanks Lewis for the advice..

Can I check, what orientation do you place the bag on your trolley? - is it with the strap / handle to the front, ie facing away from you as you push (hope that visually makes sense).

I have seen some people put staff bags on their 'side' but that looks to render more pockets unusable.

    Thanks again,

    Nick and Andy,

The only difference between the 9.5 and 10.5  is the top collar so the bags will be exactly the same on the trolley as each other. And they both look amazing. You can easily get in to all major and large pockets on the bag.

Nick I face my bag with the handle facing away from me as a push. This makes it easier to get into all of the pockets on the sides...were in this country I keep my waterproofs and you know we need those a lot haha. I also remove bag strap and leave that in the car and I place the rain hood in the front pocket of the bag that faces you when you are pushing.

I think the bag facing the way I use it looks the best and shows of more of the brilliant bag from Titleist and I would agree that on its side it would be harder to get to other pockets.

if you are thinking about getting this bag then get it, I promise you you will not be disappointed. I love mine and all of the lads I play with some of which are not major Titleist fans like me haha also love the bag.

    It's a proper head turner.

    hope this helps fellas

Hi I have just taken delivery of my 9.5" Titleist staff bag , and I have to say , now seeing one up close for the fist time, what great bags they are. I have also ordered the tour bag trolley kit for my Clicgear 3.5. Although it does fit onto the trolley , after looking at these they create more room for the bag as it then sits more upright and you can easily access the front pockets because I want it to sit with the strap / handle facing the front , like a normal bag does. Hi Andy

I have the same trolly as you (clicgear 3.5) and have been thinking about getting the titleist tour bag for a while. If you could give me some feedback on how the bag sits on the trolly with the tour bag kit and how it looks then that would be great.

    many thanks

    Hi Max

Got the tour bag kit yesterday and fitted it no problem. It does make the bag sit more upright , which does allow you to access the large front pocket , the only pocket you can't get to when on the trolley is the small one on the front.

If you wanted I'd be happy to email you some photos of the trolly with it fitted and some of it with the bag on it aswell. , so you can get a good feel for what it looks like.

    Hi Andy

I to am thinking of getting a tour bag for a motocaddy. I would love to see some pictures of how your bag fits on the trolley. Also where did you buy the tour bag kit from as I have not seen this.

    Kind regards

    Tony

    Hi Tony

The bracket I have fitted is an accessory for a Clicgear trolley. They do an item called a Tour Bag kit , which allows you to remove the original bracket and replace it with one that stands prouder of the trolley , thus making the bag stand more upright and allowing access to the large front pockets on a tour bag.

Im unsure if it will fit a Motocaddy trolly , but below is a link to what i am refering to.

    I hope this helps?

     Hi Tony

Above is a picture of my bag , sat on the trolly, with the tour bag kit fitted. As you can see , it sits much more upright than on a normal trolley , thus living you access to the large front pocket.

If you need anymore photos I'd be happy to help.

Thanks Andy, that looks great. Sits nice on your trolley I need to find out if it would sit like that on a motocaddy as I don't want it sitting on one side.

    Hi Tony,

I have the 9.5 and it's sits perfectly on my Motocaddy M1 in the upright position (i.e. not on it's side) I can post a picture if it helps?

Well worth investing in my opinion.

    Richard.

    Hi Andy,

Great photo of your bag and trolley in your kitchen.  Will your wife allow you to do the same when the trolley has been out in the rain and mud?  I don't think so!!

The Clicgear guys have obviously thought about tour bags and my club pro is a great fan of the company.  Do you, or any other TT members, know whether Powakaddy do a similar contraption for their electric range?  The Clicgear tour bag accessory certainly shows the Titleist staff bag in all its glory,as Andy' photo proves and I'd like to do the same with mine on my Powakaddy.

    Many thanks,

    Neil

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply's.

I think this kit is only done buy Clicgear. If I come across anything for Moto / Powercaddy I will be sure to post it here , as like me you all think a tour bag  looks great if you can get it onto a trolley like I have.

    Hi Andy.

How is the clearance between the bottom of the bag and the front wheel. I have an older 3.0 Clicgear trolley which has a bit of "flex" around the collapse point.

This means that even with the tour bag kit fitted the bottom of the bag rubs on the wheel.

Im thinking a new trolley will sort the issue but would appreciate some advice.

    Cheers

    Graeme.

    Hi Graeme

Below i have attached a couple of photos that show the bag sat on the trolley with the tour bag kit fitted.

As you can see there is plenty of clearance , and my bag is full to the rafters and it still does not rub on the front wheel.

Anything else i can help with just let me know.

Andy could I ask does any part of the large pocket actually touch the frame or does the tour kit adapter keep the whole bag clear of the frame?

    Hi Scott

sorry for the late reply , been out of action with a prolapsed disc in my neck . The tour kit does indeed keep the large front pocket clear of the trolley and axcess is fine , no problems at all .
