An unexpected surprise in the post last  Saturday - 2 NXT Tour 2014 balls with red numbers. I had a test ball left from the test earlier this year and they certainly feel the same. The performance is even better now that the course has dried out. The red numbered (NXT Tour) were definitely my favourite and I will be using them more often this year.

I too have received two NXT Tour balls in the post, many thanks Titleist, that is a very generous gift. I tested the 'Test' balls a few months ago and was convinced that they were the 2014 NXT Tour and NXT Tour S, both of which I used as my stock ball during 2013. I much prefered the Black numbered 'Test' balls because they felt softer off the club and seemed to have more 'Bite' on the greens but I am thrilled to receive  the gift.

Thanks for the unexpected NXT Tour balls.

I have used the old version in the past but switched to the ProV1 for more spin around the greens. NXT is a superb ball and at a lower price but personally will be sticking with the ProV1.

Just received  2 new NXT Tour 2014 balls in the post - wonderful surprise and I will look forward to using them the first time I play a round at my new Golf Club on or after the 1st May. They seem identical to the red numbered "Test" balls I commented on earlier this year - In the test I preferred the black numbered balls (presumably the  NXT Tour S ?) but I'm definitely not complaining !!

Delighted to receive a sleeve of two NXT Tour S balls.

Tried them immediatelyand played well. Long off the tee and good feel around the green too.

Suffice to say, I won't be playing any other manufacturer anytime soon!

Great ball, played with last night, looks good with the new arrows, feels great and flys nice. spin on the greens was amazing even with longer irons.

Thanks for the balls which arrived the other day but went out this afternoon and was really impressed with distance off the tee and they created great spin, they showed no sign of  excessive wear after use. Not the balls fault but the first one got lost after ten holes due to a bad swing so I thought I would keep the other one till Saturday! ! 

Just like to add my thanks for the balls - pleasant surprise awaiting me when I cam home :)

Now how long until I lose them...

Thanks for the balls. I have played with them today, and they only lasted 9 holes (lost both of them!). Off the tee they went very long and mainly straight (that part was probably me!). Around the green I found them a little hard. They also seemed to scuff quickly.

thanks to titleist for the nice suprise ,a couple of nxt tour balls,used one yesterday.really like these balls great distance off the driver and long irons and great spin off short irons and wedges,will definitely be purchasing more of these

Also one of the lucky ones to receive a couple of the New 2014 NXT Tour Balls.

Managed to play a couple of rounds with them this week - felt there was a big difference between the new NXT Tour balls for this season than the last couple of releases - Increased distance, greater spin and control around the green. 

Noted that the ball began to tear up after about 14 holes though - better than other balls I have used in the past from Titleist and their competitors. As an aggressive wedge player I expect to go through around 2 balls a round in competitions. In fairness, was quite impressed with the balls durability.

Overall, very impressed and will be purchasing some in the near future. Huge thanks for sending them, and well done on making such a top rate ball yet again.

Again thank you for the opportunity to test the nxt ball. The extra distance and straighter shot has swayed me to try them for the nxt 3 months rather than my usual ball, the pro v1.

Used the NXT Tour after using the Velocity for the last few months, what a big difference better off the driver but a huge difference around the greens. Looks like I will be giving away the remaining Velocity balls I have left and buying the NXT Tours. Thanks Titleist for the free balls.

Ive not tried the new NXT Tour so far, ive been playing the previous NXT Tour for a couple of years now and i really love the feel of the balls. They go a long way from the tee, you feel like you can hit very good distances with them from the fairway and they are very nice around the greens, they are a little firmer than the Pro V1X and Pro V1 but they are still nice to chip and putt with. Obviously the softer you go with a ball the easier it is to control on the greens, i find the NXT Tour is very good all rounder that gives you confidence to hit nice distances and is very playable around the greens.

I've been using the two NXT Tour balls sent to me and find I get a bit more distance with them - typically 10 - 15 yards than any other make.

Still prefer a Pro V1 but have no complaints about these ones - responsive and true on the putting surface as well.
