Hi,

I have a set of 714 CB irons, when I bought them I had the lie adjusted to 2 degrees upright.

Last week I had them reshafted and the fitter pointed out that there were a couple of tiny hairline cracks on the hosel of some of the clubs which he thought would be as a result of the lie adjustments cracking the brushed chrome finish and they were nothing to worry about.

Is it possible to have the clubs assessed for terminal damage and  if it's nothing serious have them refinished as I like to trade my old clubs in when upgrading and I'm not sure I would get full value for them with the cracks visible.
