A huge thank you to everyone at Titlest, BMW, and Royal Birkdale for a superb event yesterday. The organisation was excellent and the course in immaculate condition. The head pro said it will be in exactly the same condition next year for The Open - so good luck to the pros because that is a seriously tough layout. I doubt I've ever played on a course with rough so thick and so close to the edge of the fairways, which are already very narrow! Happily Titleist provided 3 Pro V1's in the gift pack :)

I think we managed to uphold the honour of Team Titleist, 2 of us scored 30 points which in the context of 4th place only needing 32 shows how tough it was. Just one player beat handicap and only by 1 shot.

I'm putting Royal Birkdale up there in my top 3 course with Turnberry and St Andrews Old, it only falls behind those 2 because of the location but as a course it beats them both.
