    Struggling a little with 917 3 wood from fairway. Tried increasing loft and was getting better results with D4 setting but doesn't suit my eye. Can a 16.5 head be purchased without a shaft?

    I'm sure if you spoke to your local pro they would be able to contact titleist on your behalf to see if it's a custom option or you could sell and buy a new complete club.

    Thanks for the advice Daniel, I'll need to see if my club pro can order a head only.

    Ok with a little help I now have my 3 wood set at C4 and smashing it off the deck nice and straight with carry 219 which is big for me.
