Massive thanks to Hannah and all the folks from Titleist who arrange the day at Close House. Was great.

Morning started off (after bacon butties) with a couple of hours on the range/pitching green trialling the current clubs and balls. My suspicions that I needed new driver were confirmed when I tried the 917 series, my old 975D is not as good, but Joe did manage to get some decent numbers on trackman with it .

The after lunch out onto the course. Our group started well with the promised rain holding off, but as the round developed the golf deteriorated as we found more and more of the long stuff off the tee.

We didn't win, congratulations to Hannah's team who did, but it was a brilliant day.

I hope I get the chance to participate again.
