I know this is technically not Titleist related but I thought I would ask you anyway. I play a lot of my golf on a links course in East Lothian in Scotland and it means playing a lot in the wind. I have been tinkering about trying to find the best way to hit a straight and consistent low ball and I was wondering how you guys do it to see if there are common methods for this shot Cheers

If you want to hit it lower all the time you'd need to try and master the punch shot or see a pro about adjusting your swing. I've recently just switched from the older model Pro V1 X to the new Pro V1 and I've found that flies much longer and straighter even into the wind.

I usually tee it up a little lower and a little back in my stance and finish my swing low. A nice low penetrating drive.

    this works for me:
Ball back in your stance, take at least an extra club than you would for a normal shot, and try and make a smooth 3/4 swing
  5. I play the ball further back in my stance than normal, Club up but only swing to a 3/4 finish.

That usually works to keep it lower.

As for hitting it straight ive no idea im afraid, let us all know if you work that one out.

I personally play them off the back foot , grip down on it and try to drill them low , that way
