Right...so I recently (7 months ago) became a Dad to a twins. I've got a gorgeous baby boy and beautiful baby girl and I'm already counting down the days to when we will go out as three-ball and play a round together!
Like most new fathers, I have many hopes and dreams for my kids and top of that list is for them to become pro golfers! I know it's a long shot and if they show no interest in the game, I will not be one of those obnoxious parents that will force the game on to them...that being said, I am trying to cultivate an interest in the game hoping they will share my love and passion for the beautiful game of golf.
At 7 months old, all they do is pretty much eat, roll around a bit, poop and sleep...here's the thing though...I read that at 6 months old, Tiger Woods showed an interest in the game of golf? What does that mean? I watch a lot of golf and most of the time, one of the twins are with me watching as well but as far as I can tell they're not really processing what's going on. Their attention is drawn more to the pretty shades of green on the TV and the changing colours. Also...when is the right age to get kids into golf? I understand Tiger was/is something special but at 6 months old, he was already into golf? Makes no sense to me or my kids are definitely not tour material!
