    Thanks to TT, I went to Close House along with my 30 month old son, who absolutely loved it!! Firstly thank you Hannah for the tickets, I really appreciate your generosity. Secondly, it was brilliant to have a tournament in the north of England, the crowds really showed up. If they were to do a northern version again next year, where would you want to host?

    I think Rockliffe would be an awesome test for the pros if played from the gold tees !!

    I went to the Masters too and loved being in the Titleist fitting centre, got irons , driver, and footjoy shoes fitted

    Having been lucky enough to be a marshal at this event, which I thought was fantastic for the North East and Mr.Wylie of Close House. I would just like to comment on the demeanour of the professional that I was fortunate to walk around with. To watch them perform at close quarters was an enlightening experience. One of the days I attended was with Graham McDowell and Marco Ilonen both of which were, apart from being good golfers, very pleasant. At the end of play both players thanked us marshals for our help and we received a signed ball from Graham. Which was more than could be said for the professional footballers I was with in the pro-am, not one of these thanked us for our time or efforts. A fantastic event and one I hope the North East can repeat in the near future.

    Hoylake/ Hillside/ S@A/ Formby/ Delamere would be great to see a European Tour event at one of those!
