    Planned a holiday to Langkawi in Malaysia when I got wind of the Langkawi Masters open to amatuers. It was a great prive and they relly put on a great 2 day event of which I came 6th. The course is unbelievable and I have never played on anything like it soft fairways, no bunkers but rough that my wedges wernt set up for. You need a lot more bounce (just shows fitting for wedges works) and lightning quick greens. So I will return with nee wedges and a softer putter and go for the win. An experience and scenary I will never forget.

    Looks like a fabulous course Simon, well done on the 6th place. Interesting about the wedges, hard to justify having 2 sets for different conditions but clearly makes a difference.
