I’ve got an Under Armour one and they’re fantastic at keeping the rain of my glasses. Did get a few funny looks of my playing partners to begin with but sometimes it’s more about functionality than style lol

Do people still actually wear these?

Have seen them around so you shouldn't have an issue obtaining one...
Whether you ought to wear one.. well, far be it from me to comment on stylistic matters - but if it's raining you should get away with it! I've got a StaDry cap which I only wear in biblical deluges but continue to carry just-in-case.
Frankly, I'd rather get wet.
My uncle wore a leather bush hat - he was bald and wore glasses so it helped him keep him warm & his specs dry.
Some fashion victims at my club wear Tilley hats come rain or shine. I know they cost about £70 but they just look dreadful.

Ash, I was glad I brought one with me to play the Old Course at St. Andrews. We even had sleet falling on a couple of holes. Used the war band under the hat.

How did "ear" band turn to "war" band? Hate old, fat fingers and small phone keyboards.

Spell checker software also kicks in and seems to have sufficient Artificial Intelligence to make us look as if we didn't go to school, missed all of the English lessons and failed every single spelling test!!

Ive had a stadry bucket hat and cap in my bag for over 2 years now. When it rains, as it does in this country, dependent on quantity, the hats always keep me dry and the bucket stops it running down my neck.

Also got a galvin green one with a extra long back, it works but looks silly.
