FJ Contour Fit are the widest shoe (and only shoe I can wear as I need XW fitting) but only available on golf websites as they have been discontinued. But if you go to USA you can get FJ Fury in XW fitting which similar to FJ Contour fit.

I'm firmly in the Ecco shoe environment...most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

I am waiting for the FJ Flex to come out, as they look obscenely comfortable...just want to make sure I get the right size in them as shoes can vary massively

Apologies for the blasphemy here, but Adidas make Tour 360's in wide fit which I find really comfy. Never managed to fined FJ that fit my feet as well

DryJoy Tours are available in both wide and extra wide fittings. I'm a medium fit, but got a pair recently, as my white Icons have started to look shabby.
Now, if only Icons were available again (not just via MyJoys), rather than the more expensive Icon Blacks...
  6. I recently got the Tour S BOA in a wide fitting.

First time with a BOA system but I find laces in my everyday shoes now kinda archaic.

Footjoy Pro SL’s all day long David, I have 3 pairs all 11W & fit perfect & I have wide feet also. Comfiest shoes out there also & very waterproof also whereas I found the hyperflex didn’t last that long waterproof wise

I've had variations with the 3stripers... my first pair of Boost are still going strong after 4 season and a very comfy. Last year I bought the pwrband boa and returned the first and second pairs as the lining in the heal wore through after a handful of rounds...I would have bought FJ but I was spending competition prize money in the club shop and they don't stocl FJ or Titleist... Maybe time to move to a new club.

    Afternoon David,

I have 4 pairs of Pro SL's in 9.5 wide fit, they are lovely & comfortable. Will never go back, even wear them during the winter.

Another vote for Pro S/L - definitely worth a try if you can get them in a wide fitting

Pro SLs get my vote for comfort. I wear them every day at work!

    Lethbridge,

I too have a wide foot. My shoes of choice are the FJ Pro S/L or the Icons. Love both and can walk miles in comfort.

I have the footjoy Pro SL in a wide fitting and had no issues at all they are like slippers and I would highly recommend them as an option for you

I had a pair of Pro SL, but they were really uncomfortable. I bought them in my usual size and they weren’t great.

Turns out, they are made on a different mould, and potentially I should have had the shoes 0.5 size smaller so the bend profile then matched correctly. Shame I found them terrible as I read so much good stuff about them.

I have considered buying more FJ shoes, but I can’t justify the expense!

I use all types of Footjoy from DryJoys Tour to Pro SL, also use Skechers golf shoes. All are extremely comfortable.

I tried a pair of Skechers golf shoes I found them to tight it’s a shame that they don’t make the in wide fittings.

    A quick update for all.

First thanks for all the comments and advice on what shoes to get.

I got a pair of Footjoy Fury’s in wide fitting (I went for the white & red) from my local Nevada Bobs, I also tried a pair of Footjoy ARC XT in wide fitting they fitted great as well.

Just need to wait for the course to dry out a bit more as I don’t want to get them dirty.
