Didna like it much..........after last wkends great display by my 917 my TS2 had a bit to live up to and I failed it......I know I’m gona need to keep plugging away with(I’m gona go to the range mid wk and take my time to hit a few....) It is a completely different shaft stiff instead of regular longer in length different loft and settings so I’m gona trust the fitter as on the day it was FAR better I’m maybe just holding back a bit plus I’m using pro v1x balls for the first time and I don’t want to loose them all in two rounds. Fingers crossed I get better with it.

I struggled with mine the first time out yesterday by pushing the ball. Finally got used to the lighter 60 gram Hzrdus smoke shaft. Started getting around on it and hit 7 of the last 9 fairways. Give it some time, the 10 gram lighter shaft took some time compared to the 70 gram shaft I used for years. Now..my 3 wood was a different story!!

    Keep at it Tosh
  4. Tosh,
Seems to be the way of it with new bats - I sometimes wonder if they sent the right club... I check the specs thoroughly against the order... Then I realise it's just pilot error... again!
It's just the same when you order a new car because the old one's unreliable - The old one is as good as gold from the time you sign for the new one until it goes off to its next home.

Couple of good biffs and you'll be right as rain... Good luck with the TS.

Keep working on the buddy, it will come good!!
My old 917d2 set up was longer and higher lofted than my new TS2 driver.
The shorter shaft is working for my swing,
apart from that I think I’ve changed the settings from A3 to C3 from my Titleist fitting and already I’m sending it out further and straighter than ever before
    Awesome club!!

Every new club takes time to adjust to, mine is a bomber and doubt I could ever find a better or more consistent driver. When it doesn't work it's always the Indian and not the arrow.
  7. Haha I can't help here as I still use and love my 917. But from what everyone says the ts3 and 2 are something else. But if it ain't broke don't fix it lol.

Each to there own of course. We can't help buying new stuff that's just the golfgeek in all of us.

    Tosh,

I had the same with my AP1's and despite lots of advice to go back to my old clubs I stuck with it and finally had to go get a lesson.

Maybe get your pro to take a look …

Defo going to stick with it and the 917 temptation is gone as I’ve sold it on.

TS3 not being delivered to pro until next week ..... can't wait ... just hope it does arrive in time as hoping for a couple of rounds over the bank holiday weekend to get used to it as a permanent feature in the bag and hopefully contributes towards some handicap improvement in the coming months
