Some of you may already be aware but R&A and USGA have recently discussed curbing the distance gains we see year after year with club and ball product releases.

How would you guys feel hitting a ball or driver that has been specifically built not to go as far as previous models, or playing a course where you're not allowed to use a driver on certain holes?

From a manufacturing perspective how would this affect Titleist and the years of hard work you've been putting into making your clubs and balls travel further and perform better? What area of the game does the focus then move to?

I understand their take on playing the older style courses, I was a member of a classic golf course where hitting long put you in trouble and I could only take my driver out on 4 holes, these are the kind of courses where a par 4 green is within range if you're a big hitter.

I don’t think it’ll ever happen and if it did , I doubt it would be for a long time yet !
