  1. Can someone explain to me how going to a garden centre or library in Wales is essential for health and well being according to the government. But golf isn’t allowed which is beneficial to health and easy to keep social distancing. I guarantee on Monday or Wednesday, what ever the day is that they open garden centres. There will be hundreds of people queuing to get in and desperate to buy plants.

  2. Think I read today the great courses of Wales will be opening on Monday 18th. Enjoy.

    Nothing makes sense anymore
  4. Wales has allowed golf courses to open but must be local. But says not allowed to drive to go to exercise. Why is everything so complicated and makes no sense with any government.
  5. Richard,
My club opened on Wednesday with all the appropriate precautions but... I haven't been able to get on - booked solid dawn til dust until next week. Slots opening for next Weds onwards on Monday.
So today, we went to our local nurseryman/garden centre and bought in the summer bedding, strictly observing Social Distancing of course.
So there's the link - If you can't get on the golf course, go to the Garden Centre...

  6. I’ve just seen that my club isn’t opening until 23rd May and then can only book 1 tee time in 2 weeks. I have a week left of membership which they will honour but then do I join and pay huge fees then per month, only play once every so often. Our booking opens next Wednesday at 6am and only 1 ball or 2 balls if family member, so doubt I will get a tee of time. I think Wales is going to open a lot more slowly and golf course will struggle, but we are not allowed to drive to the course unless it’s local. It’s So confusing All these regulations.

Good luck with your gardening and keep practising in your garden haha.
