  1. I was pondering getting some mittens for the winter months golfing:

    1. Anyone got any views on whether they are worthwhile or just a pain to keep putting on and taking off?

    2. Any recommendations ie I see the Titleist offering but is is better worse than the Footjoy ?

    Cheers

  2. Used to have mittens but then went for USB charges electric hand warmers , leave them in your pocket and great for winter golf, reusable and just re charge...

I use a set of Footjoy ones they have little pockets on the back which you can put hand warmers in.

Mitts are a must for me in the winter period. Got a swoosh pair in an outlet store for £4 and they are amazing at keeping wind and rain off.
I’ve heard the Titleist ones get better reviews than FJ but don’t know personally

I use the Titleist ones. Really warm and a pouch on the palm to put a hand warmer in. I carry and don’t really find it a pain to put on/take off.

Think the mittens are great for the winter. The Titleist ones are great, love mine.

I've had my Titleist mitts for a few years now and they're great, I like the fact they have 'individual fingers' in them and when it gets really cold I drop a hand warmer in both of them.
They also have a magnet by the cuff which means they 'stick' together so less chance of losing them.

I use the Titleist Mitts for a couple of seasons now. I find them effective but as with all mitts they can sometimes be awkward when getting on and off. But you get used to it.

I use them both will the traiolley and when carrying so they cant be that bad
  10. I have Titleist ones but I might buy a pair of Wilson winter gloves as like you said it's a bit of a faff.

The Titleist ones seem to be made of a hard wearing material.
  11. I have the titleist mits which coming out again soon. Keep my hands warm which always good
  12. I have large hands (need midsize grips and XL gloves) - can the titleist mitts be adjusted? I tried under armour ones but they were useless as I couldn’t get my hands into them...

My Titleist mittens are a winter essential! I’ve got arthritis, so the cold really affects my fingers. The mitts, along with an old school charcoal hand warmer allow me to keep playing.
  14. I'm on my second pair of Titleist mitts.... OK, Yes, I lost one of the last pair...
I think they are the best I've had and I've had FJ, UA, Wind stopper and a few others along the way.
I like mitts and wouldn't be without a pair.
I also have a pair of "wet" gloves and a pair of "cold weather" gloves ready to put in the bag during the winter.

I tend to suffer with my hands throughout the year, though particularly in winter, so gloves are a must and these are the best I've found.

I've got a pair of the Footjoy and a pair of the Titleist mittens and in my opinion the Titleist ones are better, not that I tend to use them too much. I carry my clubs through the winter months and keep my hands warm in my pockets.
