I had my only hole in one a couple of years ago at Eastwood golf club, Glasgow.(unfortunately now gone) par 3 15th.
I honestly didn't see it as my 2 playing partners put me off by jumping up and down congratulating me, they were more exited than me. I would love to see someone else have a hole in one so I could see it and experience it. I always feel I missed out.
the greenkeeper gave me a new flag which is framed with the pro v 1 glued to the top of the picture frame and its proudly hung on the bedroom wall and the first thing I see when wake up in the morning.

Well done Stuart! Enjoy the moment. I know what you mean, when I got my one, and only, HI1 never even got a par on the rest of the card.

Don't get hung up on top equipment. When it comes to getting a hole in one it's 99% luck. I achieved my one and only 2 years ago using a Titleist AVX ball on a 166 yard par 3 using a Dunlop 7 iron from Sports Direct that cost me less than £10, and I'd removed my glove as it had started spotting with rain.
