When I bought my SM8 54degree wedge I went with the S Grind. It is a close as I could get to the M Grind

I've got SM7's in the brushed steel. Got them when SM7 first came out so they've been in the bag about 3 years.
Other than some wear to the face (roughly around the centre.. ish) they have not marked up at all.
I thought they lasted better than the chrome SM's I had before.
Would go for the brushed steel option again without a second thought, though it will probably be next generation SM's.

Got my SM8’s last year after the first lockdown in chrome and excellent clubs, as per the pics attached. Always had chrome to go with my irons and never had a problem with them marking up other than normal wear and tear. Deadly accurate and consistent distances has been the biggest gain I’ve seen since getting them and hope you enjoy once yours arrive.

Well worth getting fit for it if you can when we get out of lockdown.

Was fitted for mine, and though I would be going 52° and ended up with the 50°F in the 8 degree and then Going 46°F, 54°F and 58°M for full set. Just what worked out best for me.

I think I read somewhere that the M grind was being made available in all lofts but the 48 - 54 would only be via wedgeworks

I used to use the brushed finish but went back to the Tour Chrome in SM8's as I felt they maintained their finish better and I've not found them to be glaring in sun (which was main reason I went brushed initially)

The sm8's are my first Vokey's They are fantastic im really happy with them my short game has really improved.

Thanks for the replies, ended up just ordering a sm8 50 f and 54 s in chrome, keep my 58 sm7 k grind still in pretty good nick. At same time I order the TSi2 16.5 and 21 in RDX 5.5, haven’t even seen theses let alone hit them but I did the same with the Tsi3 driver and it’s worked great so fingers crossed.

Ok I’ve just tried to register my new Vokey wedges and both serial numbers from the hosel do not match what the data base reports them as. Are these fake? Bought from a well respect shop.
