  1. With golf returning to England soon, who has already booked their tee off?

For myself, I have to wait until 8:00am on Saturday 27th, as our bookings only operate 48 hours ahead. One of my friends clubs has a two week window and he is staying up to midnight each day to lock in a tee off for each day as he is taking the week off to overload on golf!

I hope you all manage to get back on the course soon - we all have golf balls that need hitting with our great Titleist gear.

My club has moved from 14 day to 7 day advanced booking from 6am. Also no members can still book 7 days in advance so no member benefits.

8 minute tee times so it's going to be crammed out there for a few weeks.

Think I'd rather stay up to midnight than get up at 5:45 to get on the booking system, but hopefully some alarm clocks won't get set or won't go off ...

Well I've been up at 5:45 every morning and as a 5 day member I'm booked for weekdays for next 14 days. I was going to play on Good Friday and/or Easter Monday but the club wants full visitor rate. Not Happy

Ours is 24th so 5 days in advance. Club have politely asked that we give everyone a chance as last time it opened people missed out. Max 3 times a week but is open to anyone after 5 for a quick 9.

I think we are all waiting to be able to book at tee time or 2 but cannot until 8 days before

I have booked a couple of days off, to ensure I dont miss out.

Totally agree about hitting a few balls, not same hitting into a net. My balls need to be let free lol
  6. Bookings open on 27th.
Max 3 tee times a week unless there are spaces available on the day.

  8. Trevor,
In fairness, she's probably feeling pretty much the same...

    Hi there

We have a for the first time got an online booking system.

The decision was made to activate a 7 day booking, but it kicks in for 7pm.

We have been a club that you could literally rock up midweek and you could go off somewhere on the course advised by the official on duty.

Last night 7.02pm 50% of all available tee times were taken, by 7.30pm there were about 3 times for 18 holes and 5 evening 9 hole times left. this was only open to Members as done through the members site, though they could being a green fee in their 4 ball

Think we can say that people are gagging to get back out. I'm off at 9.20am and cant wait.

Worrying thing is that we have a sat morning group that goes out every Saturday, and had doe for the last 10 years at 8am, and we have to log on and book the times at 7pm every Saturday to secure the following Saturday.

  10. I’m poised for 8:00am this Saturday to see what I can get Monday - no guests allowed next week to make members get an opportunity.

My pro let me know My new Player’s Stadry 4 arrived today so even more keen to get there.

Lucky you the first day was open to all and there's even a block booking possibly for a society. Luckily members are able to book two weeks in advance and non-members 1 week.

I had a email from my club explaining booking tee times which I thought was fair.

Gives everyone the opportunity to play.

The booking system currently is operating on 7 days advance, so each night at 7pm the system goes live to book for 1 April at 7pm

Once the restrictions initially in place are lifted the system will be 14 days in advance for booking.

There is a round limit of 2 bookings a week in advance but any unused can be booked via a call to the pro shop on top of the 2 rounds a week. The limit will be reviewed and restrictions will be revised as soon as it is possible to do so.

Thought that was fair for everyone, still I’m looking forward to getting on the range and finding my swing and hitting the short game area.
  15. The alarm was set for a few minutes before 8:00am so I was on the booking system as it opened - set for 8:16 on Monday and a lesson also booked for 12:30!

Virtually all available spots have been taken on both our courses in the first two hours.

The new Players 4 Stadry will get tested too.

    Enjoy getting out there everyone!

So tomorrow is the first of 3 days off work.

tomorrow morning i will be heading to the range for a good 2/3 hour session.

working mainly on the short game and mid irons.

I've booked a early 6:48 tee time for 9 holes on the friday just to get the feel of things again tho do plan to work on my game for a couple of weeks still.

plus my course booking system shows every tee book for the next week!

    enjoy your golf everyone.

fingers crossed we may get a TT event in by the end of the year for a meet up.
