Everyone here at Team Titleist is extremely excited to bring the new Vokey Design Spin Milled 5 (SM5) wedges to golf shops starting today! We're anxious to learn which wedges you're looking at or may have already purchased. Or better yet, post some pictures! And as always, be sure to let us know if we can answer any questions about the SM5 line or wedges in general.

And if you haven't checked it out lately, be sure to head over to the recently redesigned Vokey.com ... we'd love to hear your feedback on that as well.

    Brice,

What bounce should I use for Arizona courses and what bounce should I use for California courses for the SM5's?

I'm sure they'll probably be totally different, although I don't know.

    I currently have 50-8, 54-11 and 60-7 in the SM4's.

    Thanks, buddy!

    Hope you're well.

Looking forward to seeing you at a Team Titleist event this fall/winter!

    Hey Vern-

Your current set-up is very neutral with mid-bounce options in each loft. This set-up should provide the versatility you need to play in both Arizona and California. In the SM5 line, we still have the 50-08 with the F grind sole, similar to SM4. We now have two mid-bounce options for our 54° - 60° wedges, though, one with the S grind and one with the M grind. The S grind is more of a full sole with a trailing edge ribbon and slight heel relief, while the M grind is a crescent shape sole with a narrow forward bounce surface. Be sure to check out our Wedge Selection Guide to learn more about these grinds and let me know if you have other questions about selecting the right wedges for your game.

    Until next time!

  5. Added some Darkness to the gap section.   Going out to skuff it up.

I have SM4 wedges now and love them. My question is I have the 56-14 sand wedge. Should I stay with the same bounce or lower it to a 12 pr 10?

    thank you

    Richard-

If you like your current 56-14 and are able to hit the shots you need to hit with it, then I would stick with it. Nothing beats the confidence of knowing how your equipment is going to perform if you put the proper swing on the ball!

Miss my old 64 degree...is it possible to bend a 62 to get there without compromising the club?

Picked up my SM5 wedges today (52-12, 56-14 & 60-11). Didn't get a chance to hit them today but I will be trying them out tomorrow. I got the 714 CB's two weeks ago and love them. Expect the same from these wedges.

  10. Just bought the new 54 degree sm 5 s grind 10 bounce, I hit it at windmill lakes golf center demo and they are just what I was looking for, also my cousin just got the the new ap2's and 54 and 58 sm5 k grinds.

How does the spinnability (probably not a word, but you know what I mean) compare to old semi-legal Spin Milleds'. Is there a big difference in spin between the 3 different models? Lynn

Brice, I am headed to a Titleist Demo Day at the Turning Stone Casino & Resort dome and hitting area on Saturday March 22nd for just that purpose. The bunkers at my local golf course is filled with crushed stone so the faces of my current wedges is not in the best of shape! Looking forward to checking them out as you suggested and hitting a few balls to see how much more they will spin and how much more control they will put back into my wedge game!

Love the new design of the Vokey.com site. Very clean and easy to navigate, I spent about an hour over the last two days checking out the new SM5 Wedges and all the videos, Awesome!

Planning on buying a new SM5 50 degree in the next few weeks ... makes a great Gap wedge with plenty of spin.

Checked these out over the weekend at my local golf store and I cannot WAIT to get fitted for these.   I would buy them now but much rather hit them outside and get fitted the right way...  Winter can't go away fast enough!!!!!

Would love to know if there's a fitting schedule for the Vokey in Southern New Hampshire?

    Can't wait to hit these!

The new site looks awesome and looks great on my iPhone!  WISH ScottyCameron.com was like Vokey.com on the mobile side.  Cameron's site is unusable on smartphone.

    Well done!

  17. Got my SM5 Wedges in the other day and they are great. I got a 52.08 F Grind and a 58.11 K Grind, both in Flat Black. They look and feel awesome. Best wedges I have ever played with. Looking forward to many good rounds!
