I'm going to replace my SM4 wedges that are one year old and showing some wear and tear. I'm more of a "digger" on full shots, less on pitches and sweep on chips around the green.

Here's my current set-up with the yardage I comfortably use each club: All clubs have KBS Tour reg flex shafs

    712 AP2 W (110 to 120 yds)

    SM4 56/14 (95-105 yds)

    SM4 60/10 (85 yds and less)

The ground here is usually hard with thin lies.  What loft/grind/bounce combination would you recommend with the SM5 wedges?  I live overseas and there isn't a chance to test anything :-(

    Thomas,

Depends on how successful you are with your current bounce setup.  If you aren't struggling with any of those bounces in those wedges, I might look at keeping them close to what they are.  This would be an SM5 56.14F and 60.08M.  These two would most match what you currently have.

Thanks Cameron! The new grind options were my main concern. After a bit more contemplation, I'm going to drop back to a 56.10 which should give me a bit more flexibility when I play other courses.  The new wedges have been ordered!
