    Hey Team Titleist,

Question:  What shaft flex do you have on your Vokeys?  I am thinking about going to S400 for extra stability, but a friend told me to get standard S200 for extra feel, which is what I currently have.  I like to hit my wedges harder than most people do, though.  What do you think?

    Hi Sam,

I have 4 Vokey wedges in my set up. 47,52,56,60. I use extra stiff shafts on all clubs. My wedges are a bit different. I also hit my wedges harder than most people. My 47 (pitching wedge) and 52 both have the S300 shafts in them due to the fact I often take full swings with these clubs. The 56 and 60 have S200 since I rarely, if ever, take full swings with these clubs and look for more feel.

I have Project X 5.5 on my wedges, I don't really notice shafts on shorter sticks, just the 3 and 4 irons

Sam, I got S400 in both my 53* and 58* TVD wedges, and have loved it especially in the 53*. The S200 would balloon and cost me 15 yards of distance (don't even get me started on wind), and the S400 provides such a more ideal and penetrating flight. Strongly recommend it.

I just got s400's for my 3 wedges. Can't wait to never see a floater again (or less). The penetrating flight is the selling point, easier to control (esp in the wind).

Hey, Sam.  I use the s200's on all of them.  Love the feel.  Best bet would go to a Titleist fitting event or demo day.  We've had 3 in the last month where I live.  They are held all the time.  Check the website and hit as many as you can.  Best bet is a custom fitting with Bob in Oceanside.  I haven't done that yet, but I heard it's amazing!  Good luck!
