I have flip flopped between the wedge that comes with my AP2's and a 46* Vokey Wedge.  I like the slimmer profile of the AP2 W, but i prefer the feel of the Vokey.  What does everyone else do about this?

That would be mainly from the different materials used in the multi-layering vs. spin milled. I feel your pain. Tough call, but I keep the AP2 in the bag.

Definitely is a personal preference. Distance and spin will be different. Depending on how you prefer to use the club will dictate which will be your preferred.

My last 3 sets I have stuck with a 46* Vokey. I like the weight, look and feel over the stock wedge. Also, I think I have a bit more control with the new grooves. Hoping to see what the SM6's are like soon.

I HAVE BOTH IN THE BAG. I USE THE AP1 PW FOR A CLEAN LIE OR ON SHORT PAR 3. THE 46 VOK I USE IN THE LITTLE TUFFER LIE OR IN A OPEN THE BLADE STUATION . I'LL GET A LITTLE BETTER STOP ON THE BALL OUT OF THE ROUGH WITH THE VOK.

I went with a 46 Vokey instead of the 716 CB PW. My CBs are 1* to keep a 4* loft gap throughout the set (26,30,34,38,42,46,50) until the 56 SW and 62LW. I changed the shafts between the 9i, 46, & 50 for weight-stepping and launch/spin versatility.

    - My 5-9 CBs have the KBS Tour 90 which have a mid to mid-high launch/spin rate.
    - My 46 Vokey has the KBS Tour which is 110g and has a mid-low to mid launch/spin rate.
    - - The heavier and lower launching shaft allows me to keep a consistent distance gap between full shots without ballooning too much and the Vokey head allows me to hit knockdown shots that grab
    - My 50, 56 & 62 Vokeys have the KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 which is 115g and have a high launch/spin rate.
    - - The heavier and higher launching shaft really allows me to spin the ball from within 100 yards and to blast through sand/rough.

I probably put too much thought into this, but I'm really enjoying this setup, and so is my HCI...
