I recently bought new SM5's in Raw Black(52,56,60). Love the way they look and can't wait to get them outside. Living in the Northeast however, getting outside will have to wait a few months. So in the meantime, I like to go to a local golf dome to get swings in during the winter months. Does anyone have insight as to how or if the turf mats might affect the look of my new wedges??

The black will wear off whether you use a mat or not. It may wear off more quickly with one though.

Some mats, depending on the quality and age will turn your club green on the bottom. But easy to wash off. That is the only thing I see can happen.

I've found that the greatest wear occurs with turf and sand, especially when they are wet. The driving range/indoor turf mats tend to melt ONTO my wedges (from the friction), and I end up wiping off green plastic from the bottoms at the end of a session. Swing away, Sam!
